ALARM SETTING
Note
• The radio, buzzer or CD automatically turns off after about 2
hours.
To cancel the alarm before the preset time comes, set
ALARM/POWER to 6 STANDBY. The ALARM 1 indicator
disappears.
The buzzer volume is fixed and cannot be set with the
volume control.
To set the alarm timer to sound twice a day B
1 Set an alarm time in ALARM 1 (see page 18).
2 While pressing ALARM 2, press aSET.
3 While pressing ALARM 2, press gHOUR or hMIN
to set the alarm time in ALARM 2.
4 Set ALARM/POWER to BUZZER or CD RADIO.
To start playback the CD at the alarm time, set FM/AM/CD
to CD.
ALARM 1 a and ALARM 2 b indicators light up and a
beep sound is heard.
To check the alarm time set in ALARM 2
Press ALARM 2.
About the buzzer sound
The buzzer sound of ALARM 1 and ALARM 2 are different.
The buzzer volume is fixed and cannot be set with the
volume control.
Note
You cannot set an alarm time only in ALARM 2. If the alarm
time is not set in ALARM 1, you cannot set an alarm time in
ALARM 2.
You cannot set buzzer, radio CD alarms at the same time.
• When the alarm time set in ALARM 1 and ALARM 2 are the
same, the alarm timer functions only once at the preset time.
