Why won't my yamaha htr-5830 stay powered on? It's...

Why won't my yamaha htr-5830 stay powered on? It's turns on for 2 seconds and then shuts off immediately making a click sound. I have not used the unit for about three years, as it has been safely packed away. It was working great before I packed it away, but not sure why it would start having problems now after a period of not using it.
