Question About Toshiba Home Theater System SD-43HK
Protection message...

When the DVD is switched on it says Hello, then Protection and then switches itself off. There is a DVD (original) in the machine and I cannot get it out or view or anything! Any ideas?

0 either C27(100uF16V) or C31(470uF 25V) have deteriated around a 12 Volt regulator. Try first cutting out C31 to confirm problem replacing requires dismatelling fully not a difficult problem, then soldering.

0 thanks for your help i found the caps and thought id try cutting out C31 and it works spot on thanks for your help
