The disc changer opens and closes but it is still displaying "door" as if it is still open...Please help

5 try pushing the disc skip button with the door open and force the disc table by hand to turn in a clockwise direction. you will her a gear strip noise but the table should unlock until it finds that exact spot again. let the table spin several times to free it up. see if your unit will play a cd now. Sadly it will probably happen again in the near future but I have used this method many times with success.

0 THIS IS TRUE THIS WORKS!!!! I think what happens is that the tray is flimsy and it gets caught when the carousel spins.. so by turning it a bit it releases the disc.
