Question About Technics Stereo Receiver SA-EX300
Subwoofer Hookup...

My father had the system hooked up with a subwoofer that has the same kind of connectors on the back as the other speakers. There is no amplifier that he used. How did he get it hooked up without an amplifier since the connection on the back of the receiver shows that it needs a different type of connection?
