what to do when you place a disk in unit 1 and get a message NO DISK

5 A "NO DISC" error usually means your lens just needs a good cleaning. Try a lens cleaning disc and if that does'nt work, try cleaning it with a cotton swab with isopropanol alcohol. Don't use to much! Just enough to make it slightly damp. If it is an older unit or frequently used, it could be that the grease on the gear that moves the lens has dried and it is sticking. You will have to carefully clean the old grease off and then place a very small amount of type-a grease. Also make sure the disc is'nt scratched. Some units won't read r/w type discs or some older discs.
