My Sony LBT XG100AV, when i turn it on , on the display it says - Push power Protect . is there a button that i push to do so ? how do i fix this problem because know i can't play music or anything. If you can please help i would appreciate it a lot Thanks Ruth

4 MASTER RESET; Press CLOCK SET, ENTER/NEXT and POWER button at the same time and unplug unit. The unit is reset to factory settings, all the settings you made (if any) are cleared.

1 Hi, looking in my manual, it reads: There is no sound page 30: The protective device on the amplifer has been activated because of a short circuit. ("PROTECT" and "PUSH POWER" flash alternately.) Turn off the unit, eliminate the short-circuit problem and turn on the power again. This happened to me several years back and I had to have it fixed, as I couldn't fix the problem myself. In my case something had short-circuited, it happened when I had the system on at full level, it was the only one time I did it. If it comes to that go to sony's website for a list of sony's preffered repairers in your area. cheers.
