Question About Sony Stereo Receiver STR-DE325
will not play music...

I was cleaning my receiver and it will no longer work. I still has power, however it will not allow me to do anything else to it. The screen displays "protect" when any button is pushed. Thank you

0 How were you cleaning the receiver. If you were doing anything to generate static electricity ( a problem when it gets cold and dry) you might have messed with the electronics with a hi-voltage discharge. Try unplugging the unit from the wall outlet... count to 5 then plug it in again. See if this helps
