Question About Sony Stereo Receiver STR-DE697
My receiver is not working...

I have this receiver for a few years now and it was working fine but recently after it is turned on it stays on for a few seconds and then the word "protect" appear on the screen and it shuts off. From there on anytime i turn it on this is what happens. Even without connecting to any speakers it shuts off with the same on-screen message "protect".
