Question About Sony Home Theater System DAV-HDX475
Dvd player will not detect discs...

I watched a movie the night before and the system was working fine, put a movie in the next morning and the system will not detect a disc in any of the 5 drives, what could the problem be?

0 I am having the same symptoms as darcee73 - my DAV-HDX475 player will play some DVDs but others, usually new ones rented from Blockbuster, will flash "READING" for an extended period and then show"DISK 1" in the information window but will not play. Should I try cleaning the read mechanism?
