Question About Sony Headphones MDR-RF6000
optical connection...

I connect my optical headphones to my DVR and I get sound. I connect them to my Bravia TV and nada. I connect them to my theater sound and nada. My DVR and TV are connected via HDMI. Any idea why no sound comes from my TV or Theater system only my DVR.

0 I bought a pait of Sony Wireless stereo headphones from a friend. He claims they worked fine this a.m. I printed the manual. I went through the steps such as pushing the tune/Id on the base and then on the headphones themself. I made sure all the connections were good. I hear beeping at first then a continuous beep which the manual says that means it has found frequency but still no music any suggestions?
