Question About Sony Cassette Player TC-WE435
cassette to mp3...

I am trying to digitize my old cassette tapes but when I hok everything up and save a copy it sounds only in one channel leaving the right side totally soundless. I put the cables on the L R jacks line out and the 1/8 jack into my line in on thge sound card . what can I do to fix this ?? Thankyou.
