5 Last I knew Sherwood makes Denon entry level receivers and this is a common symptom of Denon receivers. Here is one possible solution. Disconnect all the speakers then unplug the receiver from the wall for 5 minutes. Plug it back in then turn the receiver On again. If it continues to shut down there is a possible defect to this receiver. If it turns on and stays On, connect one speaker at a time until the receiver shuts down again. Once you find the speaker that is causing the unit to shut down check to make sure the positive and negative are not touching each other. It's very easy to cross a wire with the button style speaker connection on this receiver. If you are 100% sure the wiring is correct then I would connect one of the known working speakers to that same terminal. If the problem persists then it's time to return the receiver or have it serviced. I have searched the manual for a factory reset option, it does not seem to exist. Outside of a possible speaker issue, buy on Onkyo next time, they are super reliable. Thanks
