Question About Sherwood Stereo Receiver R-925
AM anntena hookoup...

I tried to hook a AM/FM amplified antenna to a Sherwood 925 receiver. Hooking one end of the AM antenna wire to the AM connector and holding the other lead, the radio would play. When I hooked the lead I was holding to the other receiver AM terminal, the radio would not play. Why? It was like I was the ground, completing the circuit.
