how do I connect it to my receiverf? Hook it to anything outside of an mp3 player?

1 manual is here. I still am baffled about the hook up to home stereo

1 You need an 1/8" to 1/4" adapter to plug it into the Headphones Jack on your stereo. I just got one and it works fine.
