5 Gently pull off the two ear pads, The battery compartments are underneath. Replace with Ni-Cd type R03 Batteries only, They can be found easily online. To get the pads back on just place the edge of the pad in the slot on the top of the earpiece and twist it till its on and in the position that it line up right.
