Question About Sharp Stereo System CD-MPX850
I a have a mini component system model # CD-MPX850...

I a have a mini component system model # CD-MPX850. There seems to be no power to the system but the timer light flashes one long and four short flashes. Any answers?

4 I have the manual it suggests resetting. However that does not work.

0 I had this exact problem....4 quick and 1 long flashing red light under the timer indicator)and the unit wouldn't turn on. I found 1 and only one answer on here...(for free!) It was a simple capacitor!!! (1000uf, 6.3v) Kinda tough to recognize the bulged(blown) diode and get to it.(for a novas)
