When trying to open the cd opener the screen shows" err 0306" what does it mean

3 Reset the microcomputer under the following conditions: To erase all of the stored memory contents (clock and timer settings, and tuner and CD presets). If the display is not correct. If the operation is not correct. 1 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to enter the stand-by mode. 2 While pressing down the 0/R button and the X-BASS/DEMO button, hold down the ON/STAND-BY button for at least 1 second. "CLEAR AL" will appear.

0 I need help with that as well. My stereo is 10 yrs old. Wonder if it's time to throw it away. It was playing my cd for a min and 30 seconds, gives up and just runs. It won't play anymore now that I took it apart :( So be careful.

0 Tried resetting it the way the manual shows. It did not work. Not sure on what to do now. Guess it's time to get rid of it. Loved this stereo!

0 I was able to reset it when the unit was off. You hold down the play button, then demo keep pressing them then hold down the stand-by button, and Clear al will appear. My cd will only play for a min and 40 seconds now, The stops working.
