how can i be sure i am getting 700 rms out of my ...

how can i be sure i am getting 700 rms out of my punch 700s. i have two 12 4 ohms dvcs wired top to bottom neg to positive then running the open neg and pos to the amp. Right speaker into left speaker then to amp is this correct
