My recoton wireless speakers stopped working.The s...

My recoton wireless speakers stopped working.The speakers seem to get power but no sound. The transmitter attached to my reciever that plugs into the outlet does not light up.Red light does not go on and vant get the sound out of speakers. I tried adjusting the frequency but no resolve. Is there a problem with the transmitter attached to the reciever.How do I resolve and get the system to work again.

0 not sure if my last post posted.  test power adapter with volt meter.  18V adapters are used on many laptops i think.  you need an adapter thats "about"18V DC, and supplies EQUAL OR GREATER amps from what the Recoton Transmitter requires.  Splice wires if you need a plug that fits, get + and - correct.  If it is still broken, sell it to me!!!  really want the speakers and would enjoy a dead transmitter too
