Question About Recoton/Advent Headphones AW770
can't get it to work!...

I've tried hooking this up to a stereo and also a dvd player with no luck. I can't get the audio level indicator light to flicker or light at all. I have the manual and have tried all suggestions in the troubleshooting section to hook this up with no luck.
