I need to transport the turntable and need instructions for securing the turntable and arm for this purpose

0 Arm does not start at beginning of record.

0 Jacqueline, there's a switch with two positions - 6" and 12"- which controls where the needle lands. The 12" setting is for LPs, and the 6" setting is for 45s. Hope this helps.
