My stereo has volume. It was working when I bought...

My stereo has volume. It was working when I bought it from a thrift store and I have touched every button I could see but still nothing. The numbers on the back are RS2635B. SN429500120. Is there a simple solution for this problem? Is a manual available for tis unit?
