my son has the viore tv with the rca home thearer ...

my son has the viore tv with the rca home thearer package. the surround works with a dvd but doesn't with the tv. is he missing anything he has is hooked up with an hdmi wire

0 I have the SAME issue. I have hooked up Home Theater systems for over 15 years but with these twi brands something is not right.
