How are you supposed to get Windows XP to recogniz...

How are you supposed to get Windows XP to recognize and load this piece of crap? I have been trying to load this for 4 hours, downloading drivers, etc. No luck. Researching this product online I see that it has recieved abysmal ratings for jsut the reason. What is the answer?
