Question About Pioneer Stereo Receiver VSX-709RDS
Turns off by itself...

I have a Pioneer VSX-609RDS which turns off itself when it is turned on. The display lits up but then it turns off itself. I have tried disconnecting the power cable to see if that helps (protection circuit). How long does the power cable need to be disconnected? Anything else that could help?
