I'm trying to hook up my TV to my receiver and am able to get sound, but the sound is distorted and fuzzy. I have direct tv and have run the video from the direct tv receiver straight to my tv, and have run the audio directly from the direct tv receiver to my pioneer receiver through the phono. I don't have a user manual and am not sure if I need to change any settings on my pioneer receiver. Please help!

0 My Pioneer VSX 504S Stereo Receiver works well except the left speaker has no sound output. I have swapped the speakers and the problem still exists with the left speaker.

0 The phono input is the most sensitive input; therefore, the most easily to over drive with a signal. An overdriven input will cause sound distortion. I suggest that you choose another input to connect your TV and reduce the volume (output) of your TV.
