5 You are referencing the outlets for "speaker plugs". These were a strange plug originally packaged with unit (I still use mine). The horizontal is the positive (+) leaving the vertical negative (-). You can find online ranging from $5 - $25. Currently, I am attempting to engineer extra sets for my unit. I don't recall the impedence but the manual said not to use without both speakers attached. I think output was 4-16 ohms.
