How do I connect my Pioneer PD-F1007 CD Player to ...

How do I connect my Pioneer PD-F1007 CD Player to my SHARP TV to listen to the CDs? I have tried using red/white x2 audio stereo to stereo cables and don't get anything on the matching input on the TV. What else can I try?

5 Does the system have an hdmi cable? it usually works best with that. also in your sharp tv you sometimes need to configure devices in order to connect them, many tvs do this as a safety measure. Try enabling devices if your tv has that option, Get new cables , Often the cables might be damaged, old or they wont be fit betwen the tv and the player, this happend serval times with my Philips home theater, the philips wires and ports were to old compared to thoose of the tv,!
