Question About Peavey Stereo Amplifier XR-600B

I just inherited this amp and have no idea how to use it. Can someone give me some pointers (I'm a beginner-a have an acoustic guitar (w/ phone jack) and a shure mic with a mic jack) and I just want to play and sing a few numbers! Please!!! Thanks! (PS the User manual doesn't help me at all!)
