Playing a record while playing catch with a ball w...

Playing a record while playing catch with a ball with grandson, ball hit picture and vase dropped on lid of turntable, turntable still has power but it will no longer turn to play record. Grandfather is not happy. Do you have any suggestions to get it going again?
