Problem with the timer to my panasonic stereo SU-C...

Problem with the timer to my panasonic stereo SU-CH 40. I can´t start my cd-player. What shall i do to get rid of that the timer stops me to listen to my cd-player?? Would be very grateful if someone can help me.
