I do have 4 wires on the back, red, black, blue 7 green. I do recognise the black & red as L & R but why are the other two wires for? Andre

5 i have the same speaker it dosent really matter what way the wires go in i just wraped the wires round the red and black wire then put it right in to my hifi and it works grate so hope fully this helped you but as i said it dosent really matter because the hifi will make it left or right depends what wire u put into the hifi it dosent matter.

0 it does matter in that one set of wires is for the sub bass and the other set for mid range and tweeter....i'm not sure weather it's the black & red that goto the woofer or the blue??? can anyone help with this question?

0 sb-ak27 has 2 different couple of wires: red-black one low impedance (6 Ohm) for low channel. Gray-blue one high impedance for high channel way. To connect the speakers to hifi system with simple couple red-black operates as described: 1) link together red and gray line and connect both to the red speaker way; 2) connect the black line to the black speaker way 3) connect the blue line to the ground line of the stereo system. Other different solutions get unappropriate sound. Taty
