popping noice...

popping noice comes through the speakers followed by complete silence, is scary sometimes pls, help me

0 I am having the same trbl with my system also . It plays for awhile then POP ,sometimes it comes back on sometimes it doesn't. any help would be appreciated...

0 Check the fan on the sub woofer. Mine is doing the same thing and i found the fan was not running and seemed real hot. So I am to assume that the pop is when it overheats and pops circuit heat protection. Fan is 8mm 12 v .12amp computer case fan. You can do this job yourself with a phillips screwdriver
