was in the room with the system turned off ,and i could hear a regular noise like the md trying to eject.discovered that there was a md in and it would'nt eject.on dismantling it i retrieved the disc but the noise was still present and the display was showing that the TOC was flashing.can;t select md from the front panel,but it's possible with the remote.
