The ManualsOnline team has found the manual for this product! We hope it helps solve your problem. Get the Manual Here
0 COULD BE CAUSED BY 1 OF THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS: DOES IT HAVE A 120/240 VOLT POWER SWITCH IT SHOULD BE IN THE 120 VOLT POSITION, YOUR RECEPTICLE COULD BE WIRED WRONG, THE BLACK WIRE SHOULD BE ON THE GOLD/COPPER SCREW, & THE WHITE WIRE SHOULD BE ON THE SILVER SCREW AND THE BARE COPPER WIRE SHOULD BE ON THE CORNER GREEN SCREW. NEXT HAS THE POWER CORD EVER BEEN CUT, IF SO, IT MAY HAVE BEEN TAPED BACK TOGETHER BACKWARDS, THE PLUG IS POLARIZED, MEANING IT WILL ONLY GO IN THE RECEPTICLE ONE WAY FOR A REASON. NEXT IF THE FAN DOES NOT WORK, IT WILL DISABLE THE RECEIVER/AMP TO KEEP IT FROM OVER HEATING. NEXT CHECK EVERY SINGLE SPEAKER WIRE, SOMETIMES THE WIRE MISSES THE HOLE AND GOES ABOVE IT AND GROUNDS OUT AGAINST THE METAL CASE CAUSING A DIRECT SHORT, EVEN THOUGH IT LOOKS LIKE THE WIRE IS IN THERE CORRECTLY. IF YOU HAVE KIDS, ONE THEM MAY HAVE DROPPED A SMALL COIN OR EVEN A NEEDLE, OR A PIN OR SOMETHING METAL IN THE TOP. TURN THE UNIT UPSIDEDOWN AND SEE IF YOU HEAR ANYTHING MOVING AROUND IN THERE. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. I USED TO WORK IN AN ELECTRONICS STORE AND YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE THE THINGS I'VE FOUND INSIDE OF TECHWOOD RECEIVERS, THET'RE SOME OF THE BEST STEREOS IN THE WORLD. THEY LAST FOREVER. THANK, CARL EMAIL=CARLKIM@BELLSOUTH.NET
