Question About Philips CD Player CDR-775
cd's for phillips 775 cd recorder...

I was all set to record a cd but when I put in the blank cd-r the response was use audio cd. Do I need a special cd to operate this machine? I have the manual and there is nothing said in the manual except to use a cdr or cdrw. I went to radio shack and they pointed out that I was using a cd-r and maybe I needed a cd+r. Other than that they had nothing to offer for advice.

5 Yeah u need to use AUDIO Discs not the other mega-byte type discs if u wanna record

0 You have to use the old style cdr or cdr-rw AUDI discs as the machine doesnt record onto the other discs ( computer mega-byte type) , it plays the mb discs tho , just wont record onto them .
