Receiver (HT-R540) that came w/ HTB system turns off aprox. 1-2 sec. after turning on. Flashes protection circuit. Did this 2 or 3 time during movie, I would turn unit off, then on, all was fine. Then, just stopped and only turns on for a second. I followed manual instructions to disconnect all wires, leave off overnight, turn volume all up and turn on to reset circuit. Did not work. Manual says to take to service center. Fry's is trying to charge almost 100.00 bucks for their "Handling and diagnosis" of the problem. Which, as i finally was told after explaining to them CA warranty law, was what they charge to look at it, scribble "don't work right" on a form and ship to onkyo. I know my way around basic electronic repair and would like to fix myself. If you have any suggestions, or especially a repair manual/schematic it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
