YES ,,I HAVE and Own a NAKAMICHI 500 DUAL TRACE cassette deck that i use and need to fix,,ALL OF SUDDEN when i Switch on the Power button the LEFT ,"VU" meter just pegs Out for no reason,,,let sit for 2 weeks unplugged from anything else, no cure,,,i figure it is a CAP. gone bad,,,but in which circuit,,i don't know,,or is that even it,,the VU. meters have Bias adj. and also EQ goes thru meters and so does all the Dolby AND the Limiters.. I need to zero in on this asap..please anyone????
