I acquired a magnovox compact disc changer -- mdl # cdc 552 bk 21; ser # 19452203. It won,t open or change /rotate thru the 5 discs in the plater. The unit does have a remote xcontrol with bfresh bbatteries -- but does not seem to have any effect. The ID label is dated 1992. any suggestions on how to recover the cd's and or get the unit in working order?
