0 I have the same problem with a slightly different model. I am unsure if it is actually a problem or the following: - For reproducing virtual 5.1 sound in movies, i.e. occasional sounds in movies being sent through this channel - Just for looks and balance - which I hope not, the system comes with 400watts and can handle an extra spkr We need to find out how to open these things up.

0 I have exactly the same problem with my system and have been determined to get to the bottom of it! I first went to Curry's where they had a demo system set up. This too had no sound from the bottom speakers. When i asked why, the manager told me that these would only come into play when the recording was made in 5:1 - this I think is nonsense! I therefore sent an email to LG on their site who told me to request a service as my unit was faulty. Still not convinced, I rang LG UK and a very helpful young man called Greg said that none of them there had come across this before and that he would look into it and call me back. A couple of days later he called back and said that I was absolutely right - there is no sound from the bottom speakers! He said that they are not usedf in this system!!!! But why not? Just for aesthetics? I feel that the system would benefit from a lower mid range speaker, so why not use one? it seems mad to me that the speaker is there but not connected. he assured me that it is not a fault. But am i convinced now - I am still not sure. if anyone knows more please tell!!!!

0 I have an LG Home Theater. My problem is,not all its speakers sound when watching a movie or when playing an audio disc.My home theater has 4 small speakers,1 centre speaker(slightly bigger than the 4) and a sub woofer. When waching a movie, only 1 left speaker,1 right speaker and the sub woofer produce sound. When set and put to test, all speakers take turns and produce sound, but when watching a movie, not all of them produce sound.Kindly advise me how i can get all of them to produce sound.
