Question About Lenoxx Electronics CD Player CD-2036

Everytime I plug the headphones into my radio while the cd player is playing the radio completely stops playing. I thought it was just me but my coworker has the same cd player and hers does the same thing when she plugs in the headphones. Please let us know what to do to help play with headphones in
