Question About Kenwood Stereo System None
volume...

I can't adjust the volume anymore. When I turn it up or down, it seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes I'll turn it up just a bit and it will go really loud, or really soft. Help!

0 I had the same problem with a VR-407. The problem was the solder connections where the IR sensor is soldered to the circuit board failed. I just resoldered them, problem fixed! I am sure they failed due to the tremendous heat that the unit produces and the lack of adequate ventilation in my av cabinet. I would suggest adding a fan to the back of your av cabinet if this applies to you. Hope this helps.
