Question About Kenwood CD Player KDC-X492
setting the clock...

So it is daylight savings time and I have no idea how to change the digital clock on my Kenwood KDC-X492, please help?

3 you need to put the headunit in to STANDBY MODE then press he little DISP button to the bottom left of the volume knob. press it for a few seconds. then it will bring up a menu. hit the volume knob down a few times til you see clock set. then PRESS AND HOLD THE VOLUME KNOB IN THE CENTER then it will blink. press the volume knob up or down for hour i believe and left and right for minutes. Once thats done hit the src button again and its done!

2 This tip saved me after too many minutes struggling with the unit. I was confused by the way it was presented in the manual, but I finally figured it out after reading "PRESS AND HOLD THE VOLUME KNOB IN THE CENTER." I think the source of my confusion was that the manual skipped that step in a number of places describing the menu system, so I couldn't figure it out. Thank you so much, previous poster!
