my kenwood mp5539u was working when you place a cd...

my kenwood mp5539u was working when you place a cd in to it but now for some reason there is no sound the speakers are all connected and the logical thing is the volume is turned up i was wondering has it have a mute on it that could have been turned on by mistake thanks neville
