connecting audio to TV...

How do I connect the stereo speakers to work with my TV. I got an audio cord and plugged the black side into the speakers hole, then plugged the corresponding red and white cords to the TV aux in area

1 u get the plugs with white red and yellow u connect the white and yelllow to ur tv and the white ones to the back of the stereo bt i use this on my dvd player to watch movies idk if it will do u want it to do bt give it a try
