Question About Emerson Stereo System MS9700
cd player...

i cant get the cd player to work it keeps saying no rdy i dont know what it means every thing else works fine how can i get it to work

3 MGL here. I'm the one above who bought unit in 2004. Took it apart again and lens position looks OK. I think there is supposed to be a projection light lit up to reflect back off the CD. Did not see one. It is supposed to display the number of tracks and the play time if all OK. I think it is the lens module gone bad. How can I get a repair manual with parts listing? Put any info you have on this in a comment and I'll read it. Thanks.

0 I bought this unit in 2004 and never used the CD player. Went to use it for the first time and got error message "no rdy". the unit is clean inside. Wiped lens with soft pad, still does not detect a CD in PLAY position. Been told the lens may be out of position. How do I fix that?
