Dual CD Player MXD55 Thr text is wrong for some of the operations when

Thr text is wrong for some of the operations when displayed; 'INPUT' reads- INP ( then half of a capital E ) then regular E. 'MUTE' reads MUEE. Also will not accept Disk. All other displays seem fine. BUT NO SOUND.??? Buck
