I've got a Denon UDRW-250 cassette player with a UPO-250 amp, tapes need volume up nearly full in order to be audible. CDs play fine at normal volume level. I've checked the cables and settings - can't see any obvious issue and I don't play tapes much so don't think it is wear n tear. Any ideas ?
