Hooking up an old subwoofer...

How to hook up an old speaker system? I have the Sub, 2 little speakers, and a center speaker. What are the satellite connections for on the back of the sub? Do I hook the little speakers in there instead of the back of the radio? I bought this speaker system back in 93' and I can't find the manual to hook it up again.
